• Wash windows

• Wipe down baseboards, doors, switch plates, and doorknobs

• Scrub bathrooms top to bottom, especially grout and glass

• Dust ceiling fans and light fixtures

• Shampoo carpets and mop all floors

• Eliminate pet and cooking odors

• Clean out refrigerator and oven

• Polish mirrors and faucets

Declutter & Depersonalize:

• Remove family photos, awards, and personalized items

• ​Clear off counters in kitchen and bathrooms

• Store away excess furniture to create open space

• Organize closets (buyers peek!)

• Pack away seasonal or rarely used items

• Clear entryway of shoes, coats, and clutter

Staging Tips Room-by-Room:​

• ​Living Room:

  • Create conversational seating areas​

  • Add a cozy throw and accent pillows

  • Use a neutral rug to ground the space

• Kitchen:​

  • Add a bowl of lemons or fresh flowers​

  • Remove magnets/papers from fridge

  • Style with just one or two appliances on the counter, or none at all

• Bedrooms:​

  • Make the bed with fresh, neutral bedding​

  • Add matching nightstands and lamps if possible

  • Remove workout gear, office setups if not intended for that use, and any medications, sleep machines, and phone chargers

• Dining Room:​
